Counselling services in a community setting can play a vital role in supporting recovery during times of crisis. A serious illness often brings many challenges, from anxiety and stress about our health to concerns for our loved ones, and even the financial pressures that illness can create. Professional support can help ease these burdens, offering a space to navigate difficulties with care and understanding.
Our counselling services are available to support children, adults, couples, and families through challenging and emotional times. Our experienced, accredited psychotherapists provide a safe, supportive space where you can express your feelings and fears freely. Rather than offering directions, counsellors help you gain new perspectives and find clarity, empowering you to make decisions and move forward with confidence and calm.
We offer up to eight one-to-one counselling sessions per client, completely free of charge. This service is grant-aided through the Irish Cancer Society and also supported by funding from the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP).
